Bombet Bonus Terms & Conditions

Every promotion has two layers of rules. The first is the offer's own terms: its percentage, minimum deposit, wagering and expiry. The second is the general bonus terms and conditions — the rules that apply to every offer unless an individual promotion says otherwise. Players usually read the first layer, if anything, and lose bonuses to the second. This page is a plain-English map of the general bonus rules you will meet at a combined sportsbook and casino, written for players in Kenya. It explains what each rule means; the binding wording is the operator's own, published on its site, and that is the version to read before opting in.

One person, one account, one bonus

Almost every set of bonus rules starts with eligibility: one account per person, often per household, device or payment method, and one active bonus at a time. The account holder must be an adult — under the Gambling Control Act, 2025, proof of age of majority is required before registration — and the payment method must be in the account holder's name. A shared M-Pesa line or debit card between two accounts is one of the quickest ways to have a bonus refused.

The rules that void bonuses most often

Max bet. The maximum stake allowed per bet or spin while a bonus is active. It exists to stop a player from clearing a requirement with a few huge stakes. Breaking it is the most common reason winnings are removed.

Restricted games. Some games do not count towards wagering, or count very little, and a few are excluded from bonus play altogether. On the sportsbook side the equivalent is restricted markets and minimum odds.

Max cashout. A ceiling on what bonus winnings can turn into. Common on no deposit offers and free spins, sometimes on match bonuses too. Anything above the ceiling is removed at withdrawal.

Time limits. One window to claim, another to wager. Unfinished bonus balance usually expires with the second.

Wagering cap. Some offers state the maximum amount of turnover that can count from a single bet, or cap the requirement itself; read which meaning the offer uses.

Sticky and non-sticky bonuses

A sticky bonus stays in the balance until it is lost or the account is closed; you can play with it, but only winnings above it are ever withdrawable. A non-sticky bonus keeps your deposit separate: you play with real money first, and the bonus only comes into use once that is gone. If you win early on a non-sticky offer, you can often forfeit the bonus and withdraw. The difference is rarely in the headline and always in the general terms.

Sportsbook-specific rules

Free bets usually pay winnings without returning the stake. Qualifying bets must meet minimum odds, and accumulators may need a minimum number of legs. Cashed-out bets, void bets and bets on both sides of the same market typically do not count. Kenyan law permits free bets and bonus bets offered in the ordinary course of business, and it forbids licensees from advancing credit or facilitating wagers through credit cards — so no bonus rule can lawfully turn into betting on credit.

Bonus abuse and its consequences

Operators reserve the right to withhold bonuses and winnings where they suspect bonus abuse: duplicate accounts, coordinated play between accounts, low-risk betting on opposite outcomes to clear rollover, or exploiting a game fault. The general terms describe the consequences, which can range from removing a bonus to closing an account. If you believe a decision is wrong, ask for the specific rule in writing.

If you disagree with a decision

Keep a record: screenshots of the offer when you opted in, your bet history and the support conversation. Complain to the operator first. If that does not resolve it and the operator is a licensee, the Gambling Regulatory Authority accepts complaints through a form on its own website, and a dispute arising from online gambling may be appealed to the Gambling Appeals Tribunal within 14 days. Our complaints guide walks through the steps.

FAQ

What is the max bet with bonus rule?
While a bonus is active, many offers limit the size of a single bet or spin. Staking above that limit, even once, can let the operator void the bonus and its winnings. The limit is written in the offer; if it is not, ask support before playing.
What counts as bonus abuse?
Typical examples are multiple accounts, sharing payment methods between accounts, betting both sides of a market to clear wagering without risk, and using restricted games to meet a requirement. The operator's terms list what it treats as abuse and what it does about it.
Can the operator change bonus terms after I opt in?
General terms can be updated, but a fair offer is judged by the terms published when you accepted it. Take a screenshot of the offer page when you opt in; it is the simplest record if a dispute arises later.
Who do I complain to about a bonus dispute in Kenya?
Start with the operator's support and keep the written reply. An unresolved dispute with a licensee can go to the Gambling Regulatory Authority through its complaint form, and a dispute from online gambling can be appealed to the Gambling Appeals Tribunal within 14 days.
